Horse Boarding

Smiling Horse Stables is nestled in peaceful South-Gastonia, NC --- less than 20 miles away from the hectic life in Charlotte with woods, pastures and rivers.

Our equestrian facility has a 9,225 sqft. insulated 18 stall Morton Barn with 12' x 12' stalls with fans and Dutch doors for each individual stall. The barn is equipped with hot & cold water wash rack, grooming area, public restrooms and a socializing area with vending machines. We have two lighted riding arenas including a jumping arena with jumps and a third arena in the building process. The property is gated, fenced and cross-fenced. The barn is protected with a surveillance and alarm system and the owners live on the premises.

We have 45 acres of pasture & wooded land with trails on our own property as well as access to riding trails to additional 100's of acres. We currently offer only Full-Board with daily pasture turnout. With our customized feeding program we make sure that you and your hoofed friends are well taken care of at Smiling Horse Stables.

We are currently offering Full (Stall) Board only which includes the following:

Daily turnouts in small groups, 3 x feeding daily, daily stall cleaning, as much grain & hay as needed to keep your horse in shape, happy & healthy, daily de-wormer, unlimited & unrestricted usage of the facility 24/7 including arenas & trails, free trailer parking, no surcharges for blanketing, bell boots, fly masks, ..........., reduced charges for training & lessons. We are feeding various, premium "Seminole" horse feed but are happy to use any other feed if requested.
